About Us

       Larry Coates started Larr Brio in 2006 with a vision that resulted from his successful career in making accessories for many of the leading companies in the formalwear business. He envisioned formalwear that would be new, stylish and comfortable. Today that vision is the Larr Brio Designer Line and can be seen here in the Designer section.

 

       Larr Brio has since expanded into traditional accessories for retail and rental. All three of our vest programs, Portofino , Oxford and Coronado , are available in 76 vivid colors. Each vest program has a number of ties and pocket squares in matching colors. For 2010, we have introduced our Ombre ties, which are made from the same high quality yarn in the same vibrant colors as the vest collections. As a result of the subtle gradations and perfect match of color, a Mermaid Ombre tie, for example, can be worn with a Mermaid Portofino, Oxford or Coronado vest and the same is true for every other color. Many of our customers also consider the Ombre tie a perfect complement to a black vest, in keeping with the Larr Brio design philosophy of having the accessory enhance the tuxedo.        Larr Brio has recently been designated the 2009 Manufacturer of the Year by the International Formalwear Association, which noted in presenting the award that Larr Brio "has established itself as a company dedicated to innovation, quality and dependability."
